The first time I sat on a horse was many years ago on holiday in the Dominican Republic. Since then I've achieved the dizzying heights of winning a local dressage competiton. OK, it was only a prelim class but I got a rosette with a '1st' on it.

So I know what it means to riders who enter competitions looking to do their best. Thats what I'm looking for in photographing animals and owners - owners and animals at their best.
