What a miserable day. Apart from trying to photograph in the dark, yesterdays conditions had nothing going for any decent shots - low light, no contrast and rain - lots of it.Spent as much time cleaning rainoff the lens rather than taking photos so decided to abandon operations after the first couple of classes. So, apologies to later competitors expecting some shots. Hopefully the next competition at Classic will be less wet. FrancisR |

There is a long tradition of black & white or monochrome photography. Removing the colour element helps to focus on shapes, shade, form and those intangibles such as atmosphere and emotion.Would your horse look good in Black & White?
