Classic - The perils of digital photography
14th September 2009
Well it had to happen I suppose. The first class at the recent Classic Dressage Unaffiliated comp was coming to a close when I pressed the shutter button and nothing happened!!
Dead, no shutter release no metering readout - nothing. Caput.
I thought the camera had died. However, when I look on the rear screen it read 'ERR02', or in english, a dead memory card.
This is only the second time in 9 years of using digital cameras that a memory card has failed. In this case I lost most of the first Prelim 12 class.
So apologies to anyone looking for shots from the first class. If I'm successful at retrieving any images from the blown card I'll let you know.
